Fleur De Lis Merci Faux Leather Card

Was inspired by Gail of I Like Paper to try Faux Leather Technique and you can see her card by clicking here. Click here for the Faux Leather Technique I used.

Made the card with monochromatic colors of brown & cream.

Used masking tape on Kraft cardstock layer. Trimmed the excess masking tape from edges. Embossed the layer with Cuttlebug Fleur De Lis embossing folder. Used Tim Holtz Distress Ink walnut stain on embossed layer. Used VersaMark Dazzle champagne & Stampendous Clear embossing powder with heat gun on embossed layer.

Stamped sentiment with Lawn Fawn Smitty's ABCs. Used Stampin' Up punches to punch out sentiment & for sentiment tag. Used Martha Stewart Fleur De Lis punches. Used a scrap piece of off-white ribbon.
