Friend Flower Card and My One Yr Blog Anniversary

Today is my 1 yr blog anniversary.
I've enjoyed each & every day and
will continue to do so. Thank you
to each & everyone of you that have
visited my blog, become followers
and inspired me.

Created this Friend card for one of
my Best Friends. She is the one that
encouraged me to start my blog and
has inspired me and that person is
Susan of Expression Avenue. I'll be
mailing this card off to her soon.

Used the Close To My Heart
Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge
for the Flower. Cut 2 images of
Flower8 at 2". Used Tim Holtz
Distress Ink on the flower petal
edges. Used a button for the
center of the flower.

Used Kraft cardstock for the
Base. Used Martha Stewart
patterned cardstock. Stamped
friend sentiment. Used a stick 
pin  and tied a ribbon (one ribbon 
to represent 1 yr blog anniversary)
to the stick pin.


Photographed near my Chiffon 
Breeze Hibiscus plant that we 
bought in 2009. I take them inside
in the Winter & put outside in Spring.
Hubby repotted it a wk ago into a
larger pot.
