Antique/Vintage Telephone Card

Created this Antique/Vintage Telephone Card
to resemble the Telephone you see next to the
card in the photo. The Telephone next to the card
is a music box (wind up is on the bottom, it still
winds up & plays, not sure ) that I was given
when younger. Music box made by Marca Music
of NY. Music box phone measures 2 1/4" x 4 1/2"
and is almost 2" tall.

Disney Pixar Artwork Scrapbook Layout

Some of you may know & others may not that
I've been creating 6" x 6" albums and one that
I have created is of my daughter's artwork.

My daughter sketched a favorite of mine & hers,
Disney Pixar Wall-E, for me in 2008. My daughter
is now a sophomore in college studying Art Animation.
I think it would be so cool some day to see her name
in Disney Pixar animated film credits or some such
animation film credits.

We saw the film at the theater and have the DVD.

A Thousand Sheets WINNERS!

Hey all!

Well, today's the day... it feels like it has been a long time coming but it is finally time to announce the winners of the big Thousand Sheets giveaway! Before I get to the lucky winners though, I just want to thank everyone for helping me celebrate the milestone this year. The response was truly phenomenal and I have enjoyed reading all of the comments and well wishes! It's been completely wonderful and amazing to discover so many fellow crafters out there... I love it!

I'm just glad that I get to leave the picking of winners to Mr. Random Generator because if I could, I would share 1000 sheets of paper with everybody. :)

Now without further ado let's find out who the lucky five are...

dadadadadadadadadadadadada (a little bit of drum roll for the occasion) ;)
And the winners are...

And the Grand Prize goes to... Jas #378

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of the winners! :)
Please email me at pete_danger@hotmail.com with our mailing information so that I can get your candy sent off to ya!

Baby Boy Teddy Bear Card

Created this Baby Boy Teddy Bear Card.

First I made the Teddy Bear using brown
cardstock. Faux stitched the edges of the
Teddy Bear with blue ink and it turned black
after I let it set.

Was going to make another Teddy Bear using
brown cardstock and faux stitch it with white ink
when I tested white ink & saw that it showed up
looking brown but decided to use felt instead.

Not cut felt or fabric before with Cricut. Had a scrap
piece of brown felt and after cutting it twice and with
my crafty Tim Holtz scissors the pieces cut out.

Snoopy baby bottle in photo was my daughter's.
Used it in photographing the card since it had
color blue in it.

Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween Scrapbook Layout

Created this scrapbook layout making a 2nd of the Pirate
card like I had made earlier this yr.

Some of you may know & others may not but I'm a big
fan of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. You can
see a sketch my daughter created on my blog sidebar.

Some of you may know & others may not but my hubby
carves an artificial Styrofoam pumpkins and the photo
in the top right corner is indeed a photo of one of the
artificial Styrofoam pumpkins my hubby carved of
Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in 2006.

GrandParent Scrapbook Layout Daughter Baptism

Since I had been working on a GrandParent/Parent
6" x 6" scrapbook I made this layout of my Father
holding my daughter at her Baptism.

We flew to E coast of FL where my Father &
2 sisters lived for the Baptism Jul 1992. We had
some traditions going on at her Baptism.
Daughter wore the same Baptism gown I wore when
I was Baptized. My Mother had kept it wrapped carefully.

priest that had married my hubby & I.

Simply Life Native American Day Bear

Created this Bear after going to the
Plano Balloon Festival Sat morn 9/17.
Even though the balloons did not launch
due to clouds we enjoyed being allowed
onto the fi
eld where the balloons were
inflated and this is not allowed during
a launch. I picked up some trading cards
on the different balloons from pilot & crew
of different balloons. One trading card was
about a balloon with Bears on it and info I'd
like to share with you about the Bear &
Native Americans.

The Bear fetish is a Native American charm
representing strength, courage & wisdom.
Believed to have the ability to heal & comfort.
It is also a protective spirit. It is considered
good luck to have the powerful and
intelligent Bear fetish.
